GeekGirlBlogs Podcast 01 - Running a Web 2.0 Startup
This is the first of our Monthly Podcasts where we will be covering topics that are both technical & non technical in an attempt to provide inspiration & support to women working in the IT industry, female students and younger women considering a career in IT. We are going to be interviewing Female Role Models in the IT industry, highlighting some of the amazing work that they are doing, and also talk about issues that affect women working in IT.
Our First podcast for our Geek Girl Blogs PodCasting series is with Bronwen Clune, Founder & CEO of Norg Media. In this Podcast we talk about the challenges of starting & running a Web 2.0 Business in Australia.
Here are some links to the other amazing women working in the web 2.0 space that we mention during the podcast:
Bridget Conway-Taylor who runs Cineplicity
Tanya Love who started My Day My Way
Tina Paters who has set up Online Giving
Louise Gorrie (who I mistakenly refer to as Lisa in the podcast - sorry Louise!) founder of BlackMax Media

I had great fun recording it and it was fantastic to meet Catherine in person - she’s become a close personal friend and it’s good to have found someone to share the aches and pains of running a company, juggling kids and having a life. The podcast is hosted on The Podcast Network and you can listen to the show here. [...]
