Podcast 4.0 - Eileen Brown
While at Tech Ed Australia this year, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to interview Eileen Brown who manages a Team of IT Eveangelists for Microsoft UK. During the podcast, we talk about her experiences as a Woman in IT, as well as talk about what she sees while travelling around being involved in Women in IT events worldwide. Interestingly, in her travels she sees the same issues coming up again & again, for all women around the globe working in IT.

Excellent podcast Catherine. I also was lucky enough to be an Mentee in the WA Govt’s Women in Small Business mentoring programme many years ago. The programme was excellent and it helped me to realise that I really did not want to be in my own business, as it helped me understand my strengths and weaknesses around work. Therefore I can’t wait for EveTech to start up so that I can possibly be a Mentor to a younger female in the Technology industry, and maybe get some more mentoring myself around maybe re-thinking the whole idea about working for myself, now that I’m 15 years older and wiser.
